Juanita is a children’s book illustrator from Colombia whose work is filled with magic, vibrant colors, textured details, and deep emotion. With a strong passion for storytelling and whimsy, she creates expressive characters and immersive environments that invite readers into imaginative worlds.

As a child, Juanita cherished bedtime stories and loved recreating the illustrations from her favorite books with pencil and paper. Those same stories continue to inspire her work today.

When she’s not illustrating or writing, she can usually be found dancing, singing, exploring astrology, or taking naps under the sun.
