I am Madeleine aka Poppy Magda, a French-Senegalese artist. I live in the city of Lyon, where I have been working for several years as a freelance illustrator and visual creator. My creations and illustrations are colorful and bold. My work has the potential to adorn everything from product packaging to silk scarves and paper art. Every drawing and creation I make is inspired by my love of materials, colors, textiles, people, and my observation of the world. My universe is made up of different graphic elements which, once combined together, create this cheerful and playful tone.

I studied art, 2D and 3D animation, and later added an MBA in Fashion and Luxury Marketing to my journey. I draw a lot of inspiration from digital culture and my African roots to create a visual language in which everyone can recognize themselves and have fun. I create illustrations for brands, magazines, publishers, and companies such as Le Journal des Femmes, Marie Claire, Elle à Table, The Lily at Washington Post, Madame Figaro, Minelli, Vogue Magazine, and others…

I dedicate myself to creating images, as well as designing and selling colorful, fun objects. Through all my creations, I strive to share my relationship with the world and convey values of joy, beauty, love, humanity, and above all, free femininity!
