How are you feeling? Can we help?

I feel uninspired
Feeling uninspired when your job is to be creative is really tough. But don't be too hard on yourself. It's a normal thing for creative beings to have up and downs when it comes to creativity. We can't have ideas all the time. We need time away from our creative work to recharge our mind and find inspiration again.
If you're feeling uninspired try something new. Get out of the house, or the office and go explore. Go in the wilderness, go in the sea, read a book, watch a movie. You don't have to always be making things to be a creative mind.

I feel like giving up on my creative job
This is a tough one. Having a creative job means so much pressure is put on what you make, what you think, how you develop your ideas, and how much money you can make. It's a lot of pressure. It's common to want to give up because it's so tough and the creative industry isn’t making it easy for anyone. Remember, there is no shame in getting a job on the side of your creative job to be able to pay the bills while you grow. You need space and time and a pressure-free environment to thrive. So don't give up on the creativity in your life and find ways to help it grow.

I feel like I'm not good enough
We have all been there… but you ARE good enough. What makes a creative person successful in whatever field they choose to work in isn't how good they are. It’s not even how talented they are. It’s their willingness to keep going. It's how much work they put in.
When you feel like you're not good enough: shut the computer, stop looking at things on social media and comparing yourself. Go back to creating from an authentic place. Keep creating and do not give up. You are good enough. You are great. -
I feel like I'm not charging enough
Pricing one's creative work is one of the hardest things you'll have to do as a creative freelancer. There's no easy way to do it and you will be learning as you go. There will be a lot of workshops and masterclasses on Mimi about pricing because we believe people should be fairly, if not generously, compensated for creative work. In other words if you feel like you're undercharging, have a chat with people in your industry and don’t be shy about asking other creatives who have been there.
