Working as a freelance creative is amazing but it is far from easy and it can also feel a bit lonely. That’s why we believe 1-to-1 coaching is key to creatives’ mental health and well-being. With Mimi, you get a real human being to help, advise, support and encourage you. The ultimate goal being that you embrace freelance life while carving a beautiful career in the creative industry.

We want to keep coaching very accessible so we’ve kept our prices fairly low.

1-to-1 coaching for creatives

Mimi believes in giving you the support you need, when you need it.

With 1 to 1 coaching, you will have video sessions (run on Google Meet) to chat through anything and everything depending on your choice of coach.

With Melanie, you’ll be able to discuss all things art direction, design and illustration and more.

With Liz, you can discuss all things design, podcasting, content creation and more.

With Cote Create, you can discuss creative business strategy, building a sustainable creative career, pricing & positioning, goal setting & accountability and more…

You can also use your coaching sessions to have a thorough portfolio review.

Time & Pricing

•1 to 1 coaching sessions last 45 minutes each

•Each session cost £50

We are keeping the coaching fee low (much lower than industry standards) because we believe in keeping this service accessible to all.

When you book, you’ll be able to input what you would need help with and any other details which could be relevant to your coach.

FAQ

  • When you book your coaching session, you’ll input some information about yourself, your work, and where you need help. This will make it possible for Melanie or LIz to learn about you before the session and prepare for whatever issues you might be facing. You will then be sent a Zoom link to join a call with Melanie or Liz on your chosen date. There might be a little bit of chit-chat to get to know each other and then you’ll both dive deep into whatever questions and concerns you have on your creative journey. The call will last 45 minutes.

  • We believe that 1-to-1 coaching can be an invaluable tool for anyone, no matter where they are on their creative journey. Coaching gives you confidence, support, and encouragement to go out there and do what you do best: create. Anyone can benefit from coaching which is always tailored to your situation and needs!

  • Yes, you can. Email us at info@mimiforcreatives.com with a link to your website/social media so we can review your work and assess whether you’d be a good fit to be featured. We unfortunately cannot get back to unsuccessful applicants.

  • Yes, of course! Mimi is for all creatives, no matter what stage they are at. From art student to freelancer, we are here to support you on your creative journey.

  • We have a full page of Resources on Mimi but you can also join Mimi’s community on Discord and discover more resources there.
